Craig Vroom is the principal at Hilliard Weaver Middle School in Hilliard, OH. With 22 years of experience at multiple levels of education, he truly embraces the craft of teaching and learning. As both an elementary and middle school teacher and administrator, his lens of primary and secondary education allows him to make connections and use the relationships he nurtures to move the organization and people within in forward.
Mr. Vroom has been recognized by his peers for his work with his school community. Recently, Mr. Vroom was awarded the 2015 Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators Middle Level Principal of the Year in recognition to his service to his students, his staff and his community. Being on the Executive Board of the Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA), Mr. Vroom has been able to share his passion for working alongside others by supporting educators in their worlds.
Co-moderator of #ohedchat, co-founder of EdCampILECBus and hosts a blog, Craig is also co-creator of “The Compelled Blogger Tribe” which regularly publishes articles both online and in print. Vroom resides in Hilliard with his wife and four children.
